Brad Pitt's next movie may shock you

Brad Pitt is set to produce an upcoming film about the downfall of disgraced film executive, Harvey Weinstein.

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed Pitt’s production company Plan B Entertainment has scored the rights to the story, which centres around how two New York Times reporters helped uncover allegations of sexual misconduct against Weinstein.

Pitt’s film will focus more on the reporter’ investigations.

Weinstein has denied any allegations, saying in a statement through his lawyer that the Times piece from last October was "saturated with false and defamatory statements."
