Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston can now get married officially, after Brad rushed through proceedings to make himself legally single! The couple celebrated their reunion in front of friends at Jen’s 50th birthday party but, according to insiders, they are now keen to officially wed.
Jen, who according to TMZ never actually legally married her ex Justin Theroux, was eagerly waiting on Brad’s official single status, so the pair could put the wheels in motion for their big day.
“As soon as Brad had confirmation he was legally single, he and Jen sent out ‘save the dates’ to all their close family and friends, revealing how they were finally able to officially tie the knot and would legalise their marriage at the courthouse in July before flying their loved ones to the One & Only Palmilla – Jen’s favourite Mexican resort – for an intimate beach ceremony,” the source spills.
“Brad had a call from his lawyers earlier this month to give him the heads up and he immediately set the wheels in motion to make Jen his legal wife again, telling her to start planning their legal wedding as he was finally able to make her Mrs Pitt again,” they added.
“Jen had everything set and ready to go but after everything she’d been through, she was still half expecting Ange to put a dagger into their plans and stall the divorce yet again so she was in shock when Brad had confirmation that it had all gone through after what had felt like an eternity,” they continued.

According to the insider, after everything they’ve been through, Jen doesn’t want a big fuss, but they do want to celebrate being able to legally wed again, so they’ve hired eight luxury private villas at the resort for their closest pals and will re-marry on the beach on July 29 – exactly 19 years after they first tied the knot in Malibu.
“She’s chosen a simple but elegant Versace dress – one of her favourite designers – and has asked Courteney Cox to be her maid of honour, while Brad’s asked George Clooney to be his best man and Ella and Alexander to be their attendants,” they revealed.
The source claims Jen’s hired her favourite chef to create the menu for a six-course dinner afterwards on the beach, as well as fireworks and a huge party. There will be special performances by Courteney’s fiancé Johnny McDaid’s band Snow Patrol as well as a surprise performance by one of Brad’s favourite artists Frank Ocean, who he’s asked to perform a love song for his new wife.
“This has been a long time coming but they’re ready to finally make things official and get the marriage licence filed so they can announce their reunion to the world, and Brad can finally embrace Jen as his wife again knowing his marriage to Ange is officially over and in the past.”
