The Bonds Baby Search is an annually held competition where parents submit photos of their kids, all for the chance for their baby to be dubbed cutest in Australia.
However, after 16 years public voting has been cancelled due to some truly awful comments made by other parents online.
In an Instagram post Bonds announced the news writing: "The all new Bonds Baby Search is a celebration of love, that means no more voting. Instead there will be a new chance to win every day!"
According to the Daily Mail Australia, two babies with down-syndrome were targetted by trolls back in 2014, with voters calling the infants "plain and weird" and "hideous".
These comments have since been deleted.
Bonds head of marketing Emily Small explained to the Herald Sun the company's decision to can public voting and instead make it so bonds staff vote: "Due to the overwhelming volume of entries Bonds Baby Search receives every year, we want to give back to the Australian public and celebrate more babies,
"By removing public voting, Bonds is judging Baby Search again, and will be selecting daily winners, giving away more prizes to celebrate more babies."
