"I will let you know when that happens," Bindi told Nat Barr and Kochie in the video above.
"You can guarantee it will involve animals."
Bindi, 20, has been dating the 21-year-old American for a number of years and the couple now live together at Australia Zoo on the Sunshine Coast.
The couple appeared on the Channel Seven breakfast show to celebrate Steve Irwin Day.
It also marked Chandler's first appearance on Sunrise.
"Chandler, first time we've got to meet you, you're now a wildlife warrior, what's that been like so far? To be part of the Irwin family?" Kochie asked.
Chandler replied: "It has been the adventure of the lifetime, you know I am the luckiest guy in the world, I get to do what I love with the person I love."
Kochie then went on to ask Bindi what she sees in Chandler.
"I think I'm a pretty lucky girl, Chandler is so awesome," she replied.
"I think I got so lucky because Chandler is honestly up for any challenge. I love that he just says yes to anything."
Bindi also revealed her brother Robert put her boyfriend through a series of "tests" when they first started dating.
"I think especially my brother Robert put Chandler through his paces," she said.
"You've definitely been tested but you passed and you're still alive. I'd say he's a keeper now."
