Renee Cawthorne, a beloved resident from Sydney’s Blacktown most recently received the help of the program when she was nominated by her caring and thoughtful neighbours.
Renee was nominated by her neighbour of 15 years Phillip Caines who put the single mother of two forward for the program following the passing of her partner. Renee’s house marks the 27th repaint as part of the Berger Paint for a Mate program, and thanks to the help of over 20 friends and neighbours, her house was transformed inside and out with a fresh coat of paint.
Terry and Sidney, Renee’s two young children, were even gifted their very own cubby house to decorate and it’s been hard to pull the pair away from their new hangout ever since.
