Taking to Instagram, the mum-of-one and prominent reality TV star went on a long-winded rant over other mums deciding to shame her and her parenting skills.
"Mum shaming is so f*****g real. It’s toxic, insidious and it’s becoming disturbingly common. Quite frankly, I’m sick of it. Parenting can be absolutely spirit-crushing as it is," Alex began, alongside a picture which reads, 'Empowered women, empower women'.
Alex, 27, who had 8-year-old son Elijah when she was still a teenager, went on to detail the difficulties and challenges faced being a young mum.
"I can’t even begin to explain eloquently enough the amount of times I have doubted myself over my 8.5 years of being a parent. As a young mother, I am particularly sensitive to the vulnerable feelings a human can have trying to navigate their way around parenthood."
Alex continued her post by stating that - like all parents - she is just learning.
"As parents, we are all faced with having to choose the right thing to do for our child. Sometimes you realise, with the clarity of hindsight, that you should have chosen differently, but that’s called life.
"All you can do is try and learn and grow along the way and try not make the same mistake in the future.
"So shamers, shame on you."
