In a heartbreaking Instagram post, Amie thanked Gary, while remembering their little one, alongside a photograph of her husband laying beside Willow's twin sister.
"Forever grateful to have this amazing human by side on this crazy adventure we call life," Amie began.
"This was last night, Bella woke upset like she does most nights before settling into her deep sleep and I could not contain myself. I wept with her, I couldn’t bare seeing her so upset. It’s never happened before, I was just so overcome with emotion. This week is proving to be a lot tougher than I thought it would be, I’m so open and honest all the time so I thought I’d be fine. Apparently not, I’m one emotional rollercoaster over here that’s for sure."
Willow's condition is extremely rare.
"When we had our 12-week scan, we found out that one of our girls, Willow, had anencephaly, which meant that she would be born without parts of her brain and skull - a condition we were told 'was not compatible with life.' I had never even heard of it," she explained to Harper's Bazaar in 2018.
