Zara Tindall, the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth, and her husband Mike recently welcomes their second child. But, the royal has always been open about how difficult the journey to growing their family was.
The 37-year-old has now spoken to BBC Breakfast, speaking on how 'horrible' it was dealing with her miscarriages before welcoming baby girl Lena in June.
'It’s very different for us, because we’re carrying the child, but for guys I guess it’s kind of that helpless feeling, which must be incredibly horrible for them,' she told in an emotional interview withBBC.
'At the end of the day they’ve still lost a child too.'
'It’s been a horrible road but, you know, actually now we’ve come out the end of it, hopefully it makes you a stronger family,' she said.
Zara added that 'everyone knowing' was something the couple had to overcome.
'In our situation, everyone knew. And very much when things like that happen, normally it’s just your family and friends, but unfortunately everyone knew about it,' she said, though she thanked royal fans for their support through the years — particularly those who shared they, too, suffered miscarriages.
