AnAustralianwoman who shed 55kg has revealed how she achieved her incredibleweight losswith the help ofbutter chicken.
Perth mother-of-five Bec Ashforth, 34, is 162cm tall and weighed 113kg at her heaviest.
Ms Ashforth said being overweight has been a "lifelong struggle",7News.com.aureports.
Her decision to make majorlifestyle changeswas prompted by the birth of her first child Felicity, now nine.
"I thought, this isn't how we should teach them to grow up," she told 7News.com.au.
Ms Ashforth started reading the Healthy Mummy lifestyle and cookbook to help herlose weight, which taught her how to buyhealthy foodsand plan her meals in advance.
Her favourite healthy dish,low-carbIndianbutter chicken, quickly became the family's go-to meal.
'It's the kids' favourite," she said. "It's so warming as well in the winter time and it fills up your belly."

Ms Ashforth credits herhealthy dietfor helping maintain herenergy levelsduring "terrible" pregnancies with her youngest kids, Lillian and Matthew.
"I didn't eat mindlessly and made sure that everything I put in my body was nutritious. I was probably more aware that I needed to be in premium condition."
With her newfound approach toweight lossandwellbeing, Ms Ashforth discovered she weighed just 55kg - six weeks after the birth of her youngest baby.

She maintains her trim physique and keepsbody fatdown with lightcardio, yoga and of course, herhealthy diet.
"I feel so different all round," Ms Ashforth said of herdiet plan.
"I'm studying to become a personal trainer - I wish I could get into every woman's ear and tell them 'you're worth it, make the effort, don't give up'."
