Shocking new details have emerged suggesting the Duchess of Cambridge was asked to pose for a charity calendar in nothing but her underwear, a baseball cap and body paint back in 2007.
It is believed that Kate, who had broken up with Prince William for the second time, was part of a 21 girl rowing team aiming to row across the English Channel to raise money for children’s hospices.
However, according to The Guardian, the Queen was forced to step in and strongly advised her not to.
"We realise if Kate was involved, sales of our Art Of Sport calendar would go through the roof," teammate Emma Sayle told the Sunday Mirror at the time, adding Kate was considering the offer.
But after a stern warning from Her Majesty, the now mother of three opted out of the April photoshoot with her team called the Sisterhood, which described themselves as as "talented", "toned" and with "killer looks."
In fact, Kate went on to rekindle her romance with the future King in June of the same year and left her rowing team for good two months later.

Meanwhile, earlier this month it was revealed Kate had a rather cheeky nickname during her schooling days due to her 'mischievous' streak.
Royal writer Christopher Andersen claimed the now 36-year-old would often flash her bottom to the boys.
"She was so famous for this at school she became known as Kate Middlebum."
