When Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison met Queen Elizabeth in London on Tuesday he presented the Monarch with the most thoughtful gift.

The Australian PM explained that he and his wife, Jenny, who joined him for the occasion, had flown into London via the Solomon Islands, and passed on the best wishes of their new Prime Minister to the Queen.
“[The Solomon Islands] is not quite on the way but it was an important visit to meet the new Prime Minister, Manasseh Sogavare,” Mr Morrison said.
“It was a successful trip and they asked me to pass on their regards to you.”
