'We've Got Four Sets Of Twins!'
As they plant gentle kisses on their newborn twins -- beautiful baby boy Levi and adorable 'little princess' Mia -- it's clear that Emma and Loma Uhila are besotted.
As far as the doting parents are concerned, there’s no such thing as double – or even octuple – trouble. And they should know!
For tiny Levi and Mia are the extraordinary couple’s fourth set of twins – all naturally conceived and born within just five years.
It's safe to say that with nine children under seven, Emma and Loma – who also have a six-year- old son, oldest child Micah – have one very full household. But they wouldn’t have it any other way.
'We feel we have won Lotto a thousand times over,' Emma says. 'Not many people are blessed with one set of twins, let alone two, let alone three – and now four. They’re all healthy, so we’re so very fortunate. There's been a lot of excitement leading up to Levi and Mia's birth, and now they’re finally here.'
Agrees Loma: 'This is one of those moments when you pinch yourself and you go: "Wow! What an accomplishment. What a blessing." At the same time, it's now that the hard work begins, but it really is such a miracle.'
After falling in love at first sight in 2007, Emma, 32, and Loma, 36, knew they wanted to have a big, happy family.
But Emma – who believes there may have been just one other set of twins in her family many generations back – never pictured herself as a mum-of-nine!
'Never in a million years did I imagine having so many children all in the space of six years. It's pretty crazy,' the dental therapist concedes.
