It’s come to light that Great Gatsby actor Vince Colosimo is having to haul bricks on building sites to make ends meet.
Attending court on two counts of driving while suspended, the shock news was revealed. So how did the father-of-two manage to fall from grace? And what happened to his illustrious acting career and million-dollar pay packet?
It might have something to do with his penchant for drugs and excess spending. In July 2017, Vince was arrested for methamphetamine possession – for the second time.
In 2014, his driver’s licence was suspended for two weeks and he was ned $1000, which he reportedly could not pay at the time.
‘Acting life is not highly remunerative,’ his lawyer, Patrick Dwyer, told the court.
‘He sands, he paints, he cleans building sites in between acting roles.’
In 2013, legal firm Dandanis & Associates threatened to sue Vince after he failed to pay off a $30,000 debt from 2011.
