Disturbing footage has emerged showing actor Johnny Depp in a fit of rage.
The footage obtained by TMZ, reportedly filmed before Amber Heard filed for a restraining order, shows Depp throwing a wine bottle and a glass in a kitchen.
Heard can reportedly be heard in the video saying: ‘Nothing happened this morning, you know that?'
‘I just woke up and you were so sweet and nice – we were not even fighting this morning. All I said was sorry.’
Pouring a glass of wine, Depp replied, ‘You want to see crazy? I'll give you crazy.’
A few seconds later, Depp spots the camera, and says, ‘Oh you got this going? Oh really…' before it cuts out.
A source for Depp told TMZ the video is ‘heavily edited.’
Heard said in a statement to People that she wasn’t responsible for the video being leaked.
‘I am not responsible for the release of the video. It was not what I wanted and I am doing what I can to force the media to take it off the internet. I underestimated the toll that this difficult few months have taken on me, emotionally and physically, and the efforts made by the media to intimidate and discredit me. It is for that reason, and my desire to make the healthiest choice for myself, and hopefully for Johnny, that I am attempting to resolve this matter in the most private way possible.’
The video was released a day before Heard's scheduled deposition in Los Angeles on Saturday.
Heard successfully obtained a temporary restraining order against estranged husband Johnny Depp in May.
