Gallaher confirmed Peter's comments to news.com.au, and hit back at people who accused him of living a "double life."
"There was no lying, no delusions, no double life. A wonderful monogamous relationship with someone for 32 years. The other was a former dalliance long finished before a loving and fruitful marriage with no secrets. This is a public outing not a personal one. Check your facts," he wrote on social media.
Todd made the original comments back in August 2018, on the Word For Word podcast. They have since been deleted.
He said when quizzed about his sister marrying Simon, "She married my ex-boyfriend and is still married to my ex-boyfriend but just has never mentioned it to me. It’s weird isn’t it? I don’t think I’ve ever spoken about it publicly."
