He escaped prison and was ordered to pay $13,040 to NSW Police for their investigation after he falsely reported a burglary at the star’s home on Aug. 8, last year.
Dulhunty was also ordered to complete 300 hours of community service and pay $660 in fines and was placed on a 12-month good behaviour bond.
The court had previously heard Dulhunty told police a crook making “meow” sounds had left a backpack containing condoms, rope, pliers, a hammer, zip ties and photos of Deborah.
But police discovered CCTV video footage of Dulhunty buying some of the items from a shop in Coogee.
Magistrate Michael Barko said the offence was “a pre-planned, premeditated, detailed fabrication by the defendant which resulted in Ms Hutton being intimidated”.
Deborah was the host of programs Looking Good, Location, Location and Celebrity Overhaul for the Nine Network. She has also hosted programs for Foxtel.
