Turia then went on to list what exactly they had spent those precious minutes together doing.
‘Time spent catching up on our respective lives: 14 minutes,’ Turia revealed.
‘Time spent talking about Hakavai: 58 minutes
‘Time spent looking at photos of Hakavai on phone: 32 minutes
‘Time spent checking messages on said phone from the babysitter (Mum): 6 minutes,’ she went on.
Her honestly appeared to resonate with women everywhere – as fellow mums took to Instagram to share their own experiences.
‘Haha...yep, that's life after having kids,’ one sympathiser wrote.
‘Ha ha yep that's life as a parent,’ agreed another. ‘Keep having child free times together. They keep you sane and make you a better parent.’
It’s not the first time Turia has shared candid accounts of motherhood.
Last month, she wrote about how ‘challenging’ she was finding it.
‘Parenting is hard. I’ve got a baby that sleeps, a supportive partner, parents and in-laws on speed dial, heaps of mates who’ve had babies and I’m still finding it really challenging and exhausting,’ she wrote alongside a snap of herself on social media.
She then went on to praise mothers everywhere.
