A new report claims Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt have been locked in a dispute for 25 years!
RadarOnline says the fact that Pitt’s movie World War Z is “stuck in production hell” and Cruise’s Top Gun: Maverick is doing well, has further ignited the longstanding feud.
“Tom was the biggest A-list name of the ’80s and Brad of the ’90s,” revealed a source. “They’ve traded plenty of barbs in the past, but this could be a real showdown!”
According to the website, the Hollywood stars first fell out on the set of 1994’s Interview with the Vampire, where Pitt was reportedly “miserable” and Cruise’s presence didn’t help.
“He bugged me,” Pitt reportedly said at the time. “There came a point during filming when I started really resenting him.”
“He’s North Pole, I’m South,” continued Pitt. “He’s always coming at you with a handshake, whereas I may bump into you. There was this underlying competition that got in the way of any real conversation.”
According to a source, Pitt annoyed Cruise after he dissed Tom’s 2008 flop Valkyrie, slamming it as “a ridiculous movie.”
Cruise apparently also lost a lead role in the movie Salt to Pitt’s then wife, Angelina Jolie.
