According to an online Palm Beach County Police report, US sportsman Tiger Woods has been arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The 41-year-old was taken into custody at about 3am on Monday May 29 local time, booked at 7.18am and released hours later.
Woods has recently been recovering from back surgery and last blogged about his health on 24 May.
In his post, he let fans know that the surgery had calmed excruciating pain and even declared that he hadn’t "felt this good in years".
While fans have been inquisitive about his return to competitive golfing, he was "positive" about it, yet was not in "hurry" to get back on the course.
"I want to play professional golf again but I'm not looking ahead," he said. "I can't twist for another two and a half to three months. Right now, my sole focus is rehab and doing what the doctors tell me. I am concentrating on short-term goals."
