“Huge shout out to the amazing people that helped us on the side of the road when we first crashed our bike, the amazing ambulance drivers, All the Dr’s, Nurses & workers at Ipswich Hospital QLD & our amazing family & friends,” Karise wrote.
“We have been so blessed to be surrounded by such love.
“At home with our darling son & couldn’t be more happy we are all alive, safe & well.
“My partner & I did suffer some rough injuries but where so lucky to be here. 💓 you wait - I’ll be out smashing tracks on tour come feb. see you out there soon!!!”
Earlier, Karise had shared a photo of herself and her partner with their hands entwined.
“Hope y’all where safe over Xmas & new year break & had a amazing end of year!!” the singer wrote.
“My partner & I - We are fine but did have a motor bike crash. I just had knee surgery but I swear I’m ready to smash the 2019 in the face! Ha!”
It’s not the first time Karise has been involved in a car accident.
In January 2017, she narrowly escaped serious injury after driving her ute into the back of her partner’s vehicle.
The pair were moving furniture when the accident happened on a blind corner, news.com.au reported.
“My partner put his brakes on because the car in front of him, which was turning right on a tiny bridge, put her brakes on,” Eden said at the time.
“Then another car was coming towards her. Basically I had three choices. It was go through the guard rail down a mountain side, hit the back of the trailer behind my partner’s car or hit oncoming traffic. I remember thinking
‘I can’t effing get out of this’ and hit the trailer — which funnily enough is my trailer — at about 70 or 80km/h. I hit the back of my own bloody trailer and my own bloody fiance! It was absolutely horrible.”
We wish Karise and her partner a speedy recovery.
