The Royals. Right now we can’t get enough of them.
Whether it’s a lengthy chat about what Meghan did with her legs, or a general comment about the hotness of Harry (Meghan’s sooo lucky!) it seems even the most mundane of details about Royal life has everyone talking.
And last week was no different.
Take this apparently harmless photo of the delightful Meghan Markle, her new hubby – the hunky Harry – and everyone’s favourite Queen, taken on June 26.
Doesn’t Meghan look the perfect princess in her pink double-buttoned Prada dress, cinched in at the waist with a narrow belt?
Nope… Not according to Twitter which erupted in surprising fury at the fact she had ‘breached Royal protocol’ by crossing legs at the KNEE – god forbid.
'Harry looks scruffy, Meghan is crossing her legs...awful photo. Am I being too picky?' asked one commentator.
'Duchess of Sussex has her legs crossed wrong. What a disrespect to the queen. All royal ladies cross at the ankles or put both legs off to the side,’ another one wrote.
Fortunately, Meghan quickly realised the error of her ways – swapping her knee-cross for a much more lady-like ‘duchess slant’ at the earliest opportunity.
Meanwhile, spare a thought for Prince William – who quickly realised that while he had left Kate and the kids at home, he was back on ‘daddy duty’ after all, as he posed for a photo with children in Amman, Jordan as part of his trip to Jordan, Israel and The Occupied Palestinian Territories on June 25.
Poor William looked a teeny bit red in the face as he posed in a blazer for the snap, taken in what appeared to be blazing sun.
But adorably, the kids surrounding him seemed more than happy to have Wills in their midst – giving a hearty thumbs up to the camera.
The same day, Wills attended a session at the Equaliser football programme in Tel Aviv along with footballer Tomer Hemed.
This time he wisely donned some dark shades to keep the sun off his delicate English skin.
Anyone else think a hat might be a wise move too?
Meanwhile, the Queen was meeting another football icon – none other than the handsome David Beckham.
Is it just us or does she seem to have a cheeky little glimmer in her eye as David clasps her gloved hand in his outstretched palm.
We don’t blame you Ma’am!
As always Her Majesty looked radiant for the occasion in a vibrant yellow and green floral number – with a string of delicate pearls around her neck.
The Queen met the footy icon to celebrate the fourth and final year of her Young Leaders Programme – which works to improve the lives of people with a diverse range of issues.
Back to Wills, and he had the sheer luck of meeting another errr… icon – this time singer Netta Barzilai, who won the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest.
He and the purple-haired songstress hung out at the Espresso Bar Kiosk in Tel Aviv on 27 June.
Bravely persevering with his jacket, William took the time to wave to the crowd as Netta smiled on.
The following day, the Duke of Cambridge paid his respects at the Western Wall, Judaism’s holiest place of prayer, in Jerusalem’s Old City – becoming the first member of the British Royal Family to make an official visit to the Jewish state.
Meanwhile, William’s dad Charles was giving art some much needed attention – as he attended The Prince’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts degree show in Shoreditch, London.
Charles looked dapper in a blue buttoned-up suit as he perused the paintings on display – appearing to give them some serious thought as he sized them up.
The following day, he hosted a reception at Buckingham Palace for The Queen’s Award for Enterprise – the most prestigious business awards in the UK.
Was there champers? Seems less serious…
Finally…. And let’s face it, this has been worth waiting for, both William and Harry ended the week by each donning a pair of jodphurs (YAASSSSSS) and leaping aboard a horse.
Yep… The Princes Played Polo.
William was snapped with his arm resting jauntily on his hip at one point in proceedings at the first day of the Audi Polo Challenge at Coworth Park Polo Club on June 30.
Meanwhile, Harry’s horse was captured on camera mid-gallop at one point – showing us all that Harry has remarkable balance and perfect poise, even at speed.
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again.
