Since Meghan Markle officially entered royal life following her spectacular wedding to Prince Harry at St. George's Chapel in Windsor on May 19, the newly minted Duchess of Sussex has been sticking to a particular style formula for royal engagements - pale pink.
Her new favorite shade is in stark contrast to her outfits previous to her wedding day, which saw the 36-year-old royal dress in chic LBDs, sharp black trousers and ripped denim jeans.
An expert has told Femail that Meghan's new wardrobe is reflecting England's changing seasons.
Karen Haller, an applied colour psychology practitioner, said soft pink has a 'calming' effect on the wearer.
'The number of high profile engagements Meghan has had since officially becoming a member of the royal family would no doubt be quite nerve wracking,' she told the publication.
'As the softer end of the pink spectrum is physically soothing, it's the perfect antidote to calming those nerves and easing the pulse rate.'

Haller adds that Meghan is 'subconsciously' reflecting her love for new husband Harry by using the romantic shade.
'Soft pinks communicate the nurturing, compassionate, caring side of love,' she said.
'I'm not at all surprised she is feeling this way given the body language between her and Prince Harry - and she is reflecting this in picking the softer pinks.'
