Prince Harry’s relationship with Meghan Markle has seen intense scrutiny since it became public knowledge last month, but the couple reportedly have The Queen on side.
A Buckingham Palace insider has told Us Weekly that Her Majesty is “fully supportive” of her grandson’s relationship with the 35-year-old Suits star, who he has been dating for the past nine months.
Although Queen Elizabeth II is yet to meet Markle, the source says that “she’s delighted to see Harry in a loving relationship”.
Despite the tick of approval, the Toronto-based actress won’t be accompanying the royal family for their traditional Sandringham Christmas - Markle flew back to the U.S. on Tuesday after spending a week with Harry in London.
Earlier this week New Idea reported on the couple's big wedding news.
‘Meghan and Prince Harry have already pledged to be together and it’s beginning to look as though they will elope,’ says a family insider close to the couple.
