"[They are] 100 per cent live," Dorian said, clearing up the misconceptions.
"They have little microphones inside the mask, taped to their head," he continued.
"And there's the combination of this microphone and that microphone (pointing to a hand-held and taped variety) for different sounds."
Judge Jackie O Henderson is also adamant that they are singing live.
"I’ve seen a set malfunction happen and something fell on one of the singers and the singing stopped straight away," Jackie told The Advertiser in September.
"They are singing live – 100 per cent fact."
