The 34-year-old said, 'When I was pregnant and the body shamers came out, some of the stuff I got hit with on Twitter ... it was awful and really tough.'
She also added, 'When you’re hormonal and you’re getting up at stupid o'clock in the morning for work, it can really wear you down and there are times where you wonder if it’s worth putting yourself out there and having an opinion.'
Sarah goes on to reveal that despite her haters she accepts her post-baby body and that with help of her co-host Jessica Rowe, she has learned to block out the negative comments she receives via social media.
Sarah and her husband Tom Ward welcomed their first child Paul into the world in December. After spending four months with her son, Sarah decided it was time to return to her Studio 10 desk, despite admitting she felt ‘a little bit nervous’.
She also added, “It took me a couple of weeks to get back into the groove of being switched on and my brain being 100 per cent in gear. What I love about Studio 10 is you are always half a second away from disaster,’’ she says. “It’s a live show, things often change on the run, I’ve not only got four people on the panel I’m trying to wrangle, I’ve got a live studio audience and a very enthusiastic producer yelling in my ear, so there’s a lot going on. You have to be ready to roll.”
Harris also hinted that she would like to have two more children whilst her husband Tom ideally wants four. The couple tied the knot in July 2014.
