Rose Jacobs has reportedly taken out an AVO against her estranged husband Steve Jacobs, just days after their split was announced.
According to the Daily Mail, Rose applied for a 'restraining ex parte temporary domestic protection order' at Port Vila Magistrates Court in January and was granted an AVO immediately.
'The court received the application from the complainant and the application was assisted by the police,' a courthouse staff member told the publication earlier this week.
'Police assisted Ms Jacobs in filing an application for a family protection order.'
Details are yet to be released about what prompted Rose to apply for an AVO, but the former Today Show weatherman is still allowed access to his two daughters.
The couple, who were married for seven years, moved Vanuatu last year to spend more time with their daughters but reportedly grew apart.
'They've grown in different directions and want different things in life now,' a friend of their told Confidential.
'Steve and Rosie had such a public image of the perfect happy family but behind the scenes there were struggles that would put a strain on even the best marriage.'
