The late crocodile hunter's wife Terri, daughter Bindi, and son Robert, will attend the exciting ceremony on April 26.
Bindi confirmed the news with a sweet post to Instagram, writing: 'Dad changed the world by reaching out to people through their television screens to bring them on the adventure of a lifetime. To have his name on a Hollywood Star means the world as we carry on his important work. We hope to see you in LA! 🐊❤️'
Irwin's best friend and director of Australia Zoo and Wildlife Warriors, Wes Mannion, will help co-host the event.
Steve Irwin shot to worldwide fame for his crocodile wrangling and wildlife conservation efforts.
The world was left shocked when tragically, in September 2006, Irwin passed away at the age of 44. While filming a new wildlife series, Irwin was struck by a sting-ray.
His family, consisting of Terri, Bindi and Bob, will continue the wildlife warrior's conservation efforts in a new series on Animal Planet TV later this year.
Making an appearance on Channel Seven's Sunrise, Terri, 53, and son Robert, 14, spoke about the upcoming program and their hopes of honouring Steve's legacy from Australia Zoo.
'It's all about continuing dad's amazing work and inspiring others to become wildlife warriors,' Robert told the hosts.
'We're so excited for this new series – it's going to be absolutely amazing. There's never a dull moment here at Australia Zoo,' he added.
When Robert was asked what his dad's thoughts would be on the television series, he replied: 'Well, I think that dad would be proud and that's what we hope. It is sort of our life mission to really continue his legacy.
'I would hope that we're making him proud and continue to do that work through this show.'
