Steve Ditko, the co-creator of Spider Man, has sadly passed away at the age of 90.
The legendary comic book artist, who worked with Stan Lee, died in his New York City apartment.
TMZ report Ditko's death was the result of a heart attack.
While Lee went on to become the face of Marvel comics, Steve chose to remain private and refused to do public appearances.
Many have claimed Ditko was the 'unsung hero' of the Comic Book world, with the notoriously private artist and writer continuing to work at Marvel's Manhattan studio.
Our thoughts are with Steve‘s family and friends during this difficult time.
