90s girlband The Spice Girls are reportedly getting back together and working on a very special television show and compilaton album that is set to be released next year!
According to The Sun, all five original group members will be reuniting and it's reportedly all thanks to Mel C (or Sporty Spice) who has launched a campaign to get the girls back together.
'The five of them have been locked in secret talks since the summer,' a source told the publication. 'And finally they are all on-board for a 2018 reunion.'
The exclusive also uncovered that the five women were working on a 'series of projects' together, however it was allegedly difficult to get Posh Spice (AKA Victoria Beckham) on board.
'Getting Victoria to agree has been a coup for everyone involved, given she has always been the person holding back on a reunion,' the insider revealed.
Whispers of a Spice Girls reunion have been swirling ever since Ginger Spice - Gerri Helliwell - told Red magazine last month that she tried to rekindle the band.
'I really pushed to get everyone back together,' she said. 'It got to the point where I just had to let it go. I still love the girls, and there are other bits and bobs in the pipeline.'
The last time the popular girl group reunited was in 2012 at the Closing Ceremony of the London Olympic Games.
We can't WAIT to see this new reunion!
