Sonia Kruger offends Richard Wilkins with DISGUSTING confession on Today Extra
It's the confession she must now regret making
It really was a case of too much information this morning on Today Extra, when Sonia Kruger disgusted Richard Wilkins by oversharing about a mishap with a bodily function.
Reporting on the Canberra Press Gallery’s Midwinter Ball, where Prime Minister Scott Morrison jokingly referenced a widespread rumour that he soiled himself at a Sydney McDonalds in 1997, newsreader Davina Smith opened a discussion about the distasteful story.

While, notably, the Prime Minister did not confirm the revolting rumour, co-host Sonia Kruger was far less sheepish on the subject.
‘I mean, no judgement. I mean really, who hasn’t s*** themselves at some point,’ she blurted, in a moment of brutal honesty.
Both Richard Wilkins and Davina Smith immediately raised their hands to insist that they had not.
‘It’d just be me then,’ replied Sonia, realising her bid for relatability had gone horribly wrong.

Noting the experience is a relatively common one among anyone who has ever been ill with a tummy issue, or who has made very poor dietary choices, Sonia added, ‘Let’s just say I’m never eating hot and numbing chicken again.’
It’s not the first time Sonia has put a foot wrong on air.
The star was slammed as a ‘racist’ and a ‘bigot’ after claiming on the Today Show that Australia should close its doors to Muslims following terror attacks, telling viewers that she’d ‘like to feel safe’.
She later defended her comments, arguing that she was entitled to her views ‘as a mother’ – leading to an angry backlash from other mums, with one claiming her little boy had been called a ‘terrorist’ after the TV host’s controversial opinions.
