It’s the latest slow cooker recipe to go viral in Australia, with thousands cooking this Chinese classic for dinner right now.
Slow Cooker Mongolian Beef has been described as the ‘best Chinese I’ve ever eaten’ and ‘the best dinner I’ve had since lockdown’ by fans.
The recipe, created by The Recipe Critic, couldn’t be more simple and involves piling a few everyday ingredients - listed below - into a slow cooker and letting it simmer on low for four hours. Easy as!
Says Recipe Critic: ‘This SLOW COOKER MONGOLIAN BEEF comes out so tender from those hours in the slow cooker! This is a million times better than takeout!!’
And it seems scores of Aussie fans agree. ‘I made this last night and it was hands down the best Chinese I’ve ever eaten,’ said one. Added another: ‘I’ve made it two nights in a row and I’m considering a third!’
