A sixth person has died from the Bourke St mall attacks in Melbourne earlier this month.
9 News reports that police confirmed the 33-year-old woman died before 7:30pm last night.
Five other victims were killed in the attack: 10-year-old Thalia Hakin, 22-year-old Jess Mudie, 33-year-old Matthew Si, three-month-old baby boy Zachary Bryant and a 25-year-old man.
The attack injured 37 people, nine of which are still in hospital, and one is still in a critical condition.
A 26-year-old man has been arrested over the attacks, and has been charged with five counts of murder, with other charges pending.
Tributes have poured in for the victims.
22-year-old Jessica Mudie was visiting from Sydney, has been remembered by her family as a “bright bubble of joy” who had an “extravagant humour” and always laughed at her own jokes.
“You will always be a part of us and are one of the strongest people we know,” they said in a statement.
“We are constantly inspired by your love for everyone around you and the lengths you will go to for the people you love.”
“You are always up to do everything,” the statement said. “You are strong, beautiful, determined, always work hard to get what you want and never shy away from a challenge.
“You are so headstrong and assertive in everything that you do, your love for your family and friends is immense, and you are always there when any one needs support.”
10-year-old Thalia Hakin has also been remembered by those closest to her, while her mother, Nathalie, and younger sister Maggie, 9, are still in hospital.
“(Thalia) was a really doting and caring older sister,” her principal Beth Rivkah College, Rabbi Yehoshua Smukler tells News.com.au.
“She would come and check on her sister every day.”
“She was a really sweet kid ... humble, caring, friendly,” he added.
Matthew Si, aged 33, has been remembered by his wife, Melinda, who had left him after having lunch together just moments before the attack, described him as a “devoted husband” and says she and her family are “shattered”.
Zachary Bryant, the three-month-old baby that was killed, has been remembered by his parents.
"He was the most beautiful, loving, happy, and perfect little baby we were so lucky to be gifted with. He was the light of our lives constantly filling our days with smiles and laughs. He leaves us with the best three months and 14 days of wonderful memories spent in this world.
"Zac, Mummy and Daddy love you very much, and always will."
