She is sure to set tongues wagging with her tell it like it is attitude, but for Sheridan, there is a lot more going on under her confident veneer.
The mum-of-two was left heartbroken after her second marriage fell apart.
‘I think I was so besotted with my husband at the time that when our marriage ended it felt like a death,’ she tells New Idea.
But, Sheridan, 41, is determined that her perfect match is out there and she has turned to new dating show, The Single Wives, to help her.
While the two-time divorced mum has a great relationship with her first husband – who she shares two children with, Chloe, 12, and Isaac, nine – the breakdown of Sheridan’s second marriage hit her hard.
‘I was blindsided,’ she admits. ‘I was in a very bad place, to the point that my 12- year-old daughter took over the house for a couple of weeks because I just couldn’t get out of bed... I started to drink heavily and it was quite frightening at the time.’
Knowing that she didn’t want to put her kids through that again, Sheridan saw The Single Wives as the perfect opportunity to help mend her heartache and look for The One.
The Single Wives airs Wednesdays and Thursdays, 7:30 pm on Channel Seven.
