Simon, who has been the Red Wiggle since 2013, claimed nothing has changed within the group's dynamic as he downplayed rumours of tension between the soon-to-be-divorced pair.
'They're unbelievably professional, so on the outside you wouldn't know that they're going through any issue at all,' he explained.
Simon added: 'They're dealing with it really well.'
In a statement released in August via The Daily Telegraph, the couple admitted they had been 'navigating through a trial separation' for the past six months and had decided to go their separate ways.
At the time, they confirmed they would continue to perform as 'Emma and Lachy' in The Wiggles alongside fellow band members Simon Pryce and Anthony Field.
