Although Seven Year Switch’s Cass Thistleton and her ex-husband Ryan announced their split last week, the pair are happily co-parenting for the sake of their children.
The 34-year-old mum shared a post on Instagram to praise Ryan for helping her out after a stressful move.
“Beyond exhausted but lucky @ryan_thistleton is here to see the girls so I can breath (sic) and exist alone for a moment,” she shared.
She added: “I HATE MOVING. This afternoons two year old meltdown was f*cking insane and drew out for more than 2 hours. Ry walked in at the right time honestly didn't know here I could go from there. It's incredible that these tiny humans can push you to breaking point by in the next minute absolutely melt your heart from inside out. Parenting is incredibly hard but single parenting is incredibly challenging to every inch of your patience and sanity.
“No sleep for nearly a week. Training, packing, moving, unpacking whilst carting around three babes... can't wait to sit back and enjoy my gorgeous children and this beautiful home with the beach at my door.”
Last week Cass and Ryan announced their breakup.
The parents of three, both 34, told New Idea that their decision to split was more of a realisation than the outcome of an argument.
“I don’t even know what it was that made us come to the decision to separate,” Cass said.
“It’s not like we had a big fight or anything like that, I think it was just more a realisation.”
Ryan and Cass are parents to baby Mena, toddler Emmerson and Ramani, Cass’ daughter from a previous relationship.
