The Prime Minister visited Hit Far North Queensland studios on Wednesday with Shad and Carly and was asked a series of probing questions.
Despite the grilling, the PM decided to pose for a photo with the breakfast hosts which he then posted to his Instagram story, however, unbenohwst to him, Shad was holding a rather explicit mug.
“Chatting with Shad and Carly at Hit FM Cairns,” Mr Morrison wrote on the image, followed by an emoji of a microphone.
What had gone unnoticed by Morrison was Shad's mug, which had the letters U, N, and T painted on the outside.
The handle preceding those letters forms the shape of a C, which spells...well we think you can work it out.
Southern Cross Austereo, the parent company of the Hit Network, has since released a statement about the incident: "Southern Cross Austereo sincerely apologises for the actions of Shad Wicker host of Cairns Hit Network breakfast show yesterday."
"This conduct is not acceptable and does not live up to the social and moral code of conduct that we endorse and expect from all our people.
We have investigated this matter thoroughly and can confirm appropriate action has been taken. "
That's why it's always best to double-check a photo before you upload it, right Scotty?
