While she remained tight-lipped about her upcoming stint in the jungle, during the chat the convicted drug smuggler made a troubling admission about her time in Bali’s Kerobokan Prison.
“I was out of my mind, literally for about four years,” the 42-year-old revealed. “It started a few months after my dad died … [then] my final appeal came through negative, then my mum’s partner died as well.”
Schapelle fought back tears as she explained that her stress levels combined with her mental state even caused her hands and feet to constantly cramp up.
“I couldn’t even move; people would handfeed me and I couldn’t swallow. They had to put water down my throat,” she revealed.
