Sunrise host Samantha Armytage has been attacked in the street by a vicious Doberman dog. The 38-year-old presenter took to Instagram to reveal details of the frightening incident which left her with a large wound on her arm.
Sam revealed in her Instagram post: "And that's a wrap on an afternoon I'd rather forget. One Doberman attack + one police station visit + one Tetanus shot (with added whooping cough booster) + antibiotics = a few very stressful hours (& I didn't even get to finish my afternoon walk!).
"IF YOU HAVE AN AGGRESSIVE DOG, KEEP IT AWAY FROM THE PUBLIC" she added revealing that her shock about the bite was now, understandably, turning to anger.
Poor Sam went on to outline how the dog had bitten her, but could easily have attacked a little boy who was walking just near her when the dog pounced.
"This could have been so much worse," she wrote. "There was a toddler walking just near me when I was attacked. Thank god it was me, not him."
Poor Sam is due back on air tomorrow on Channel 7's Sunrise.
