Just days after Prince Harry excitedly announced he has joined forces with TV talk show Oprah Winfrey for a special project close to his heart, reports have emerged suggesting the Queen is far from happy about it.
“It is obviously another very clear sign, Harry is going along with Meghan rather than the other way around,” former Royal editor Duncan Larcombe told Fabulous Digital.
“These new charities and project’s he’s got involved with the partnership with Oprah Winfrey is more evidence of ‘The Meghan Effect.'”
In fact, Mr Larcombe went on to explain that mixing Hollywood and the Royal family has also ended badly in the past.

“Traditionally when members of the royal family have mixed their causes with celebrity, it hasn’t gone particularly well,” he explained.
“Sarah Ferguson has come under criticism for mixing in celebrity circles.
“The royals tend to stay away from endorsing particular celebrities. So it is quite new and is probably something I would suggest the Queen would have her reservations with.”

Harry and Oprah will work as co-creators and executive producers on a new documentary focusing on mental health.
In a statement shared on Instagram, Prince Harry said: “I am incredibly proud to be working alongside Oprah on this vital series which we have been enveloping together for several months.”
Oprah responded, commenting: “Delighted to be partnering with you. Hope we shed a lot of light. And change some lives.”
