Royal shock: Why baby Archie is REALLY being hidden

The truth behind his absence is finally explained

We haven’t seen much of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby son Archie – and that isn’t likely to change with the revelation that the royal baby will be christened in the Queen‘s private chapel and not St George’s Chapel.

The baby’s relative absence from the public gaze has sparked speculation that the sensitivities of royal newcomer Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, are to blame – but that’s not the case, according to Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine.

‘I think this is quite Harry-led and it is putting Meghan in a very difficult position,’ she told the Daily Mail of the Duke’s attitude.

‘She’s the one getting all the flak as a newcomer to the Royal Family.

‘I assume Harry and Meghan don’t know where they are going wrong and think the criticism is all so very unfair.

‘But why wouldn’t they want the world to see their baby? I don’t think it is any skin off their nose.’

The couple are set to share pictures from the royal christening with the press and via their Instagram account. They have only released two images of the child since his May 6 birth, with Ingrid complaining about how artistic and stylised they are.

‘The pictures they issue are so stylised. People just want to see Harry, Meghan, the baby and the gown and the godparents, that’s all,’ she says

‘It’s traditional. But there’s nothing wrong with a bit of traditional when it comes to a royal baby

‘I think what people want and what people are used to seeing are lovely family images of the baby in the royal Honiton lace christening gown.

‘They won’t want an arty Instagram shot of Archie’s foot three days later if it’s left up to the couple themselves to take pictures and release them.’
