Royal well wishers have started to gather in Windsor, close to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s home at Frogmore Cottage, ahead of the hotly anticipated arrival of Baby Sussex.

A crowd of dedicated fans are camped outside Windsor Castle including Terry Hutt who celebrated his 84th birthday yesterday, Express.co.uk reports.

While details of the Sussexes’ first child have been kept firmly under wraps, reports have surfaced indicating the 37-year-old Duchess will opt for a home birth at Frogmore Cottage.

Should any complications arise it is thought that Meghan will be taken to NHS Frimley Park Hospital, a 30 minute drive from the Cottage.

The Surrey-based medical facility has been placed on standby as Meghan prepares to give birth any day now.

It’s understood that Meghan – who has long planned for a home birth – will remain at Frogmore for as long as possible once she goes into labour, and will only be transported to Frimley Park should she experience any complications.

“The plan has never changed. Meghan has been very clear what she wants,” a source told The Sun.

Another potential delivery location is American-owned hospital The Portland where Sarah Ferguson welcomed her two daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.

Express.co.uk also speculates that Meghan’s friend Amal Clooney may have recommended the Kensington Wing at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, the place she delivered her twins Ella and Alexander.

One thing is certain, thought – the former Suits star will not follow in the footsteps of her late mother-in-law Princess Diana who started the trend of giving birth at the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in London, welcoming her two sons with Prince Charles there.

Kate Middleton echoed the Princess of Wales’ trailblazing choice and gave birth to her and Prince William‘s three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis at the ultra-exclusive, $11,000 AUD per night Lindo.
