Princess Charlotte is no stranger to the spotlight having lived much of her four short years under the loving gaze of the British public.
Little Lottie, as she is known to her family, has a reputation for playing up to the press with her trademark wave and adorably cheeky comments, and true to form the only daughter of Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge stole the show at mum Kate’s nature garden at the 2019 Royal Horticultural Society’s Chelsea Flower Show on Monday.
The tiny royal looked to be in her element as she played on a swing and pulled her shoes off to wade through the garden stream, covering herself in mud as she went and flatly refusing to play with big brother Prince George, five.

Princess Charlotte delighted royal fan watchers by screeching “Oh la la!” at the top of her lungs as she walked in the water, and touched viewers with her protectiveness of baby brother Prince Louis, one, by gently taking his hand in hers.
The launch of Kate’s newly curated plot was a family affair for the British royals with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth stopping by to inspect her granddaughter-in-law’s achievement.
According to People, a nervous Kate spent precious moments before the monarch’s arrival tidying up her garden, anxiously picking up any stray twigs or leaves that may have found their way onto the immaculate footpath.
The prep seemed to have been worth it, as the publication reports Queen Elizabeth gave her nod of approval upon entering the space telling her aides, “It’s very tidy”.
The Duchess, 37, created the garden in conjunction with the Royal Horticultural Society and Davies White to highlight the benefits of children playing outdoors.
