Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spent the day in their namesake, Sussex, on Wednesday, and a video from the royal couple’s trip has made its way online.
The newly minted Duchess of Sussex is seen excitedly meeting the crowd when she spots a large golden labrador.
No doubt eager to show husband Harry, Meghan is seen quickly trying to grab his arm so that he can come and meet the adorable pup.
The Duke of Sussex doesn’t quite catch on to Meghan’s gesture, so she continues to grab at his arm until he eventually notices what she is trying to show him.
Harry quickly drops down to his knees to give the excited dog a better look.
The couple’s excitement over the dog is probably due to the fact they just recently got their own dog – a black labrador named Oz!
While also on their trip, Harry and Meghan proved their honeymoon phase was still well and truly in swing.
The pair laughed, giggled and held hands the entire day – and couldn’t keep their eyes off one another.
Harry and Meghan have never been afraid to show some PDA.
“They are not afraid to hold hands. They don’t mind showing their emotions,” veteran royal photographer, Mark Stewart, previously told PEOPLE.
“Meghan is used to being touchy-feely, and Harry is the same,” former palace spokesman, Dickie Arbiter, also told PEOPLE. “Harry has always been tactile.”
