The Queen was back wearing her usual bold colours as she visited The Royal Air Force Club to mark its Centenary Year on October 17.
Her Majesty wore a royal blue dress and matching hat as she signed the guest book at the RAF Club before departing after opening the new wing and unveiling a series of newly-commissioned artworks.
A day prior The Queen was seen wearing pastel mint which made some question if she was moving away from bold colours.
“Looks like she’s gone for mint green on this occasion,’ fashion expert Donny Galella told New Idea.

“She wears a lot of brights normally.”
Even to her grand-daughter Princess Eugenie’s wedding, The Queen opted for a pastel shade.
At that event, the Queen wore an egg-shell blue ensemble by designer Angela Kelly.
That said, according to her daughter-in-law Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, The Queen opts for bold colours for a very specific reason.

“She needs to stand out for people to be able to say ‘I saw the queen’,” she stated in the documentary The Queen at 90.
“Don’t forget that when she turns up somewhere, the crowds are two, three, four, 10, 15 deep, and someone wants to be able to say they saw a bit of the queen’s hat as she went past.”
