The former Duchess of York is said to be considering a new career as a royal singer. And it seems she could be set to release her first ever single later this year.
The unexpected news comes after The Black Eyed Peas star Will.i.am revealed he would like to collaborate with Sarah and that the joint music project would be “dope.”
“Fergie does poetry. She writes her own poems,” Will told the Daily Star Sunday.
“I love her so I want to do a project with her. Imagine her reciting poetry over my beats. That will be dope.”
The former Voice Australia coach went on to reveal that it was actually Sarah’s idea to work together.
“One time I was with her she brought the topic up. She said to me: ‘Imagine my poetry over your beats,” Will continued, adding the pair have hung out together before.
“Royal Fergie is my home girl. We do tea together all the time. She even came to my ghetto to mentor kids at a school. I love her. She’s the real Fergie.”
Will also revealed his adoration for Fergie’s daughter Beatrice.
“Beatrice is the coolest, too. I love her eyes.”
Surprisingly, it seems the collaboration is likely to happen.
“Fergie is open to collaborating with Will.i.am,” a spokesperson told The Mail.
“She has been writing poems.”
