Sarah Ferguson has had a tumultuous relationship with the royal family since her split with Prince Andrew, but it was Prince William who drew the line in the sand once and for all.

Fergie – who first became part of the family in 1986 following her royal wedding to the Queen‘s son – was not invited to Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s wedding in 2011.
According to Express, the former Duchess of York found it “difficult” to cope with the snub.
In an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2011, Fergie said
“It was so difficult.
“Because I wanted to be there with my girls … and to be getting them dressed and to go as a family.
“And it was also hard because the last bride up that aisle was me.”
“I think what I felt was that I went through the phase of feeling so totally worthless and that [it] was quite right they didn’t invite me.”
Fergie told Oprah that she believed Prince William’s mother, the late Princess Diana would have been “so proud of her son”.
She said: “I’m here to say how proud she would have been and Kate looked utterly beautiful.”
According to Express, Fergie was invited to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding in 2018 but was excluded from the evening reception at Frogmore House (which Prince Charles hosted).
The Duchess was said to be “deeply upset” by her exclusion, with a source telling The Daily Mail that Fergie has been complaining “to anyone who will listen.”
“Numbers are limited to the evening party,” the source told the publication.
“She is not a member of the Royal Family any more and Prince Charles simply doesn’t have time for her.
“He just can’t see why she is still such a big part of his brother’s life.”
