Sarah, Duchess of York was recently spotted showing her motherly side as she planted a kiss on an adorable tot during a charity event in London.
The 59-year-old was seen in high spirits as she attended the function as patron of Julia’s House, not only kissing the tot but also chatting away to a young girl before she sat down to read the children a story.
Fergie, has been unveiled as a patron of children’s hospice charity Julia’s House, following in the footsteps of Harry Redknapp, Rupert Everett, Martin Clunes, and James McVey.
Following a visit to the charity’s Wiltshire base in Devizes last month, Sarah commented:
“I am delighted and privileged to accept the offer of a patronage of Julia’s House. I was so taken by the charity when I visited. It is a place of unity providing harmony and happiness… It is such a good place where children are able to be themselves.”
The outing came after Fergie spoke to Hello! about her near death experience when she narrowly avoided getting on the plane that crashed on 9/11.
“I take every minute as a blessing, I really do, and I really work hard at it. Because the minute you look too far forward, then you’re missing now.
“The minute you look back… you can’t go back. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
She also spoke of how she’s planning to take up piloting again!
“I’m thinking of taking up my helicopter license again. I think it’s a good challenge. I also want to do Challenge Anneka for myself. So I’m going to go into my 60th year very fit.”
