It’s the wedding that the world is waiting for!
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are set to tie the knot on May 19 at St Georges Chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle in the UK.
And, as Meghan walks down the aisle all eyes are sure to be on her wedding dress, but her hairstyle will also be a major talking point.
Will Meghan, forgo her iconic messy bun for a stylish up-do?
‘A lot will depend on her dress,’ Nicky Clarke, former hairdresser to Princess Diana, revealed to People.
‘I’m not sure if we are going to get the sophisticated Meghan or the slightly edgier Meghan and that will probably dictate what she does with her hair.’
And of course, how she wears her hair will also depend on whether she wears a tiara or not.
‘If she’s wearing a tiara then she will definitely wear her hair up,’ revealed celebrity hairdresser, Daniel Galvin Junior.
‘I certainly don’t think she will wear a messy bun down the aisle.’
But, Nicky thinks that Meghan might turn to her future sister-in-law, Kate Middleton for inspiration. ‘I think she might go for a half-up, half-down,’ she said.
Back in 2011, Kate chose a half-up, half-down hairstyle for her wedding to Prince William.
Meghan, however, tends to wear her hair fully down, styled with a few waves, but Nicky thinks that might not be suitable for the occasion.
‘I think wearing it all down only really works when you want it to be slightly off in a hippy-style, which I think she would absolutely carry off, but it’s just whether she feels like that’s appropriate,’ said Nicky.
Whatever hairstyle Meghan chooses, she will no doubt look stunning on her big day.
