Just where Prince Harry and Meghan went for their honeymoon remains unknown. However, what is known is that the newly weds didn’t jet off for a romantic getaway straight after their big day. And the reason could have to do with an unhappy Prince William.
According to 2018 documentary Harry and Meghan: the First 100 Days, the Duke of Cambridge was “tired of doing all the work.”
“After the wedding, everyone sort of expected them to disappear off to some exotic island somewhere,” Royal author Duncan Larcombe explained.
But instead, the couple stepped out to celebrate Prince Charles’ 70th birthday just days later.
And journalist Helen Kiran-Taylor believes Prince William, who ditched the garden party, may have had a stern word to his brother saying: “I think the reason poor Meghan has gone to work full time is because Harry has got to pick up some of the slack.
“I think Prince William is tired of doing all the work.”
It is understood Harry and Meghan left for their honeymoon shortly after the milestone celebrations with some suggesting the pair holidayed in Botswana or Namibia.
