They’ve said their first child is due between April and early May. However, some fans are hoping April’s Pink moon – which began on Good Friday – could help bring on labour for Meghan Markle.
In fact, according to anecdotal evidence, labour can actually be induced by the lunar cycle and the start of a full moon.
It has also been said that maternity wards are usually much busier during this time, although medical experts don’t necessarily agree.
So will Meghan give birth this weekend?
Well, if her sister-in-law Kate is anything to go by then possibly.
The Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to Prince George on the day of a full moon on July 22, 2013.
“It’s certainly busier during a full moon. I did a tot up last year and I found that 40 per cent of my clients go into labour on a full moon or a new moon when the sky is very dark,” birthing Doula Maddie McMahon previously told the Express.
“A lot of women will tell you that their cycle seems to work in that pattern as well. I suppose the science comes with the production of melatonin that is associated with light and dark and with regulating our menstrual cycles.”
